The NICE Conference, hosted by Florida International University (FIU) and New America, unites community members and thought leaders from education, government, industry, and non-profits. Its purpose is to explore strategies for cultivating a skilled cybersecurity workforce capable of addressing future challenges. This event offers a valuable opportunity to share best practices from around the world and various sectors, aiding us in building the workforce necessary to combat current and upcoming cybersecurity threats.

This year’s conference will take place on June 1-4, 2025 at the Marriott Tech Center in Denver, Colorado, and is aptly themed “Climbing Higher: Educating & Sustaining a Resilient Cybersecurity Workforce” highlights the urgency of strengthening and expanding the cybersecurity workforce. By collaborating with key partners, we aim to tackle current challenges and ensure a secure future.

As a lead up to the 2025 NICE Conference, we are excited to announce our Local Stakeholders’ Engagement Event (LSEE) taking place on March 7, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. MT. This event will be held at the Kevin W. O’Neil Cybersecurity Education & Research Center in partnership with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Katzy.
